Privacy Policy

• Account: your mobile number (OTP login) or your Google account email and name.
• Profile: name, location, main crop and contact details you choose to add.
• AI features: questions you ask, the answers, and crop photos you upload for disease scanning. These are saved to your history.
• Marketplace: listings you post, including your name, WhatsApp number, district/village, photos and video. Listings are public.
• Price alerts: the crop, mandi and target price you set, and a contact number if you add one.
• Payments: order and payment IDs, amount and plan. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay and never reach our servers.
• Usage: anonymous analytics (pages visited, device type) through Google Analytics for Firebase.

• To sign you in and keep your plan, usage limits and history in sync across devices.
• To answer your farming questions and analyse crop photos.
• To show your marketplace listings to buyers and sellers so they can contact you.
• To send the price alerts you ask for.
• To process payments and prevent fraud or abuse.

We use Google Firebase (login, database, file storage, hosting, analytics), Google Gemini (AI answers and photo analysis), Razorpay (payments), Google Maps (maps and place search) and WeatherAPI (forecasts). They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. Mandi prices come from the Government of India's open data platform (data.gov.in / Agmarknet). We do not sell your personal information.

Your profile, AI history, scans, alerts and payment records are visible only to you. Marketplace listings, including the seller name and WhatsApp number on them, are public by design. Remove or mark a listing as sold at any time from My Listings.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and its data yourself: sign in, open your Dashboard, expand your profile and choose “Delete account”. This removes your profile, listings (with their photos and video), price alerts, notifications and AI chat/scan history. If you cannot sign in, email help@farmeasy.org from your registered email or mention your registered mobile number. Payment records are retained where the law requires it.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and access is restricted by authentication and database security rules. No system is perfectly secure; please keep your phone and Google account protected.

FarmEasy India is not intended for children under 13.

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
